Parijat Industries (India) Limited has acquired a retailer-focused digital commerce platform and associated retail database from PEAT GmbH, an agri-input portfolio company and subsidiary of HELM AG, Germany. Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co advised Parijat on the acquisition and on the overall transactional aspects of the strategic collaboration between the parties. The Firm advised on the transaction documentation, negotiations with HELM and its advisers, and on the transaction-specific legal matters through signing, closing and post-closing. The transaction was led by Devesh Pandey (Partner), Abhiroop Datta (Partner) and Anushka Ganguli (Senior Associate).
