RCF fined ₹5.43 lakh by NSE and BSE each for SEBI LODR non-compliance in Q3 FY25-26
RCF, a public sector undertaking in chemicals and fertilizers, received separate notices of fine from both the National Stock Exchange and BSE for the same quarter-end compliance lapse. The non-compliance relates to Regulation 17(1) of SEBI's Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR) Regulations, which prescribes board composition and independence requirements. The fine structure-equal amounts imposed by both exchanges-reflects coordinated regulatory action. RCF intimated the exchanges formally of the penalty on or around 28 February 2026.
Why it mattersRegulation 17(1) LODR (board composition and independence norms) non-compliance triggers dual-exchange enforcement action; listed entities must audit Q-end board structure disclosures against current SEBI LODR standards to avoid similar fines.
